Quinoa avocado sushi

Who doesn’t love sushi? I think it’s one of the few meals you could wake me up for in the middle of the night. Although, it takes a little practice, but creating your own custom sushi can be such a fun and very rewarding activity. Last week I had a great time with a lovely friend while making some quinoa avocado sushi rolls.

Homemade peanutbutter

I seriously don’t believe why I always bought expensive jars of organic peanutbutter, while it is ridiculously easy to make your own, homemade peanutbutter. Once you have tried it, you will never go back to shop- bought again, I promise! Peanutbutter has many health benefits when it is eaten in moderation: it is an excellent source of protein, fiber, mono- unsaturated fatty acids, folate and vitamin E.

Apple pie overnight oats

Apple pie for breakfast, what a comforting yet refreshing way to start your day! These apple pie overnight oats have all the flavour of a traditional apple pie: slightly tender, yet crispy apple chunks, an intense cinnamon aroma, and sweet and juicy raisins, but combine them with the health benefits of oatmeal, a match made in heaven if you ask me. This is such a simple, but delicious recipe, which can be perfect on a busy morning, or can easily be enjoyed as a healthy snack or even as dessert.

Bright green smoothie

January is a time of fresh starts, new beginnings and making changes. This yummy, cleansing green smoothie is a perfect way to ring in the new year. I have been drinking green smoothies for over a year now, and I can highly recommend them to everyone! These drinks are made from fruit, leafy greens, for example spinach, and  liquids. Before you wrinkle your nose at the notion of drinking spinach, let me make clear something: the fruits will mask the taste of the greens! Believe me and give it a try!Greensmoothie 1
